APTA and iGrad Attack Student Debt with Enrich Financial Wellness

iGrad, the innovative financial literacy educator, has partnered with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) to offer the Enrich Financial Wellness platform to their students and professionals in order to combat the overwhelming student debt most adopt to pursue their passion.

Today’s physical therapists are contending with a student debt level that affects both their own career, and the profession in general, according to an article in PT in Motion entitled, “Financial Literacy and the New DPT Grad.” As the minimum requirement for a physical therapy degree has risen to require a doctorate-level of study, the amount of student debt increases. Jennifer Rondon, Manager of Business Development  with the APTA stated “We’ve seen a wide variety of debt loads that students are carrying. It’s not unusual for them to carry $50,000 to $100,000 of debt.” With more students and professionals acquiring substantial debt, the APTA felt compelled to explore solutions to ease the strain of student debt on their practitioners.
