Useful Updates to Author's Home
We updated the author page to be fully integrated with the article section (it’s now accessible through the left hand side navigation menu). Some of the key updates include:
- Beautiful, integrated layout w/better visibility of our expert contributors
- Larger author thumbnails and bios
- Breadcrumbs added for ease of navigation
- Updated author bio pages with their latest posts, bio, and social icons
Improved UX for Module & Course Completion Screens
We’re continuing to roll out a bunch of small, UX tweaks to our module product to make sure that all of the new and powerful functionality is as easy and intuitive as possible for our users.
The last few releases have focused on rolling out a series of ‘lego blocks’ to the module and course completion pages that are dynamic and shown/hidden based on the use case. One example:
Users taking a linear course where the goal is to complete each module in order and quickly (e.g. Exit Counseling) will only see a ‘Take Next Module’ block after completing a module in the course. By contrast, users taking a non-linear course will see other options, such as ‘Try Other Modules’ and ‘Retake this module for a better score’.
New Profile Questionnaire Design & Functionality

We redesigned the profile questionnaire that users see when they sign up to accomplish several important goals.
The major changes include:
- Brand new design: We redesigned the profile questionnaire to function as a series of steps en route to ‘building’ a personalized profile. It’s now much easier and faster to complete. The new questionnaire also appears as on overlay over the profile page (the old questionnaire required you complete all questions before going to your profile) which makes the process more cohesive and friendly for the user.
- Opt-out at any time: If users would rather take a tour of the iGrad site, prior to completing their profile questionnaire, they can now quickly dismiss the questionnaire and complete it whenever they like. They’ll see calls to action in their profile Explore and Find tabs to complete the questionnaire until they’ve done so.
- Updated questions: A big thank you to our partners who shared their thoughts and feedback on the verbiage related to some of the profile questions. We listened to your feedback and updated the questions in order to better ‘speak to’ your students!
